Shigeru Miyamoto

Shigeru Miyamoto is a video game designer. He is the founder of Nintendo. He was born in Kyoto, Japan in 1952. Miyamoto has produced many famous games such as the Mario, Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, F-Zero, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, and Nintendogs series. He was the winner of the 2012 Príncipe de Asturias Prize in Communication and Humanities. Miyamoto's games have been seen on every Nintendo video game console, with his earliest work appearing on arcade machines. His games have recieved critical praise from many reviewers, and he has been the recipient of various rewards.
