Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's IslandEdit
Naval Piranha first appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island as the second boss of the third world in the level Naval Piranha's Castle.
When starting battle, Naval Piranha is seen to be an ordinary Piranha Plant until Kamek comes along and grows her to a gigantic size. Then, Naval Piranha attempts to use her gigantic tentacles with Naval Buds at the ends and head to injure Blue Yoshi. Nipper Plants also appear in battle for Yoshi to swallow and make eggs.'
In order for Blue Yoshi to get back at her, he must heave an egg at her bumpy spot with two bandages put perpendicular across each other to form an X. However, an egg needs to be hit against the wall as the bumpy spot doesn't go up to Blue Yoshi. After a hit, she attempts to headbutt Blue Yoshi. Three times total results in Naval Piranha being defeated. Then, access is open to the fourth world.
A famous cheat (which is carried over to the remake) allows Naval Piranha to be defeated before battle and being enlargened. To do this, Blue Yoshi must heave an egg at her, but not stand on the platform where the battle takes place. Then Kamek will come and say "OH MY!!!". This technically makes Naval Piranha the easiest boss in the game.
Naval Piranha reappears in Tetris Attack.
In the game, Naval Piranha is aided with her Naval Buds during the tetris battle. She is the tenth and final boss of the easy versus mode in the game. She often uses hearts in her dialogue and calls Yoshi "Babeh".
Mario Party seriesEdit
Mario Party AdvanceEdit
Naval Piranha once again appears in Mario Party Advance.
In the game, Naval Piranha appears as a boss in the mode Bowserstein! where Bowser organises a duel between the player and Naval Piranha in the minigame Koopa Kurl. Completing this challenge allows the player to keep the minigame.
According to the credits, Naval Piranha resided in the desert after her defeat by the player in Koopa Kurl.
