Bullet Bill is an enemy originating from the Mario series. It is simply a bullet being shot out of a cannon known as a Bill Blaster. Some just go straight at you, but there are also some who can lock onto you such as in Super Mario Galaxy.

Appearances[]

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island[]

BulletBill-SMW2

Bullet Bills first appear in the Yoshi series in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They can be shot out of green Bill Blasters. This is also their first chronological appearance in the Mario series.

In the game, Bullet Bills are coloured green and have a newly introduced subspecies in the game; Bouncing Bullet Bill. This sub-species bounces off the walls while trying to attack Yoshi.

In Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, the remake of the game, an even newer subspecies appears; Biting Bullet Bill. This enemy attempts to bite Yoshi. It never appeared in the original and was a beta element in the original.

Yoshi's Safari[]

Bullet Bills reappear in Yoshi's Safari, present only in a few levels.

In the game, they come at Mario and Yoshi, trying to attack them. They can be defeated fully with a single shot by the Super Scope. Their Bill Blasters are not visible in the game.

Yoshi's Story[]

BulletBill

Bullet Bill reappears in Yoshi's Story.

The Bullet Bills in this game act regular, but are golden in the game. They also appear to be attracted to metallic objects in-game. Their Bill Blasters also appear differently in-game.

Yoshi's Island DS[]

Bullet Bill Sprite - Yoshi's Island DS

Bullet Bills once again appear in Yoshi's Island DS.

In this game, they act the same as they did in their predecessor, but only in their original colour, black. They can also be seen in the Subterranean Enemy Exhibit of the Museum.
